Heartland Adds RISE UP COUNTRY WITH JOHN RITTER to Programming Lineup

Chattanooga Tenn. (September 22, 2015) – Luken Communications, LLC and The Heartland Network, LLC, proudly announced the addition of Rise Up Country with John Ritter to their programming lineup today.  The series will premiere on Sunday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. EDT/PDT.

Rise Up Country is a weekly half-hour inspirational series hosted by songwriter and entertainer John Ritter. John’s radio show, also called Rise Up Country, is distributed nationally and can be heard on over 150 radio stations across the country. The series’ first season will boast an impressive lineup of guests including Sara Evans, Aaron Tippin, Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Tracy Lawrence, Kellie Pickler, Scotty McCreery, Randy Houser, Gary Allan and more.

John Ritter said, “The show’s mission is to spread a weekly dose of inspiration and a message of hope. We want our audience to know that anything is possible if you put God in the center of your life. The good news is you are not stuck with you – they shouldn’t give up – they should rise up.” Ritter added, “We’re excited to partner with Heartland to bring this uplifting testimony to their viewers every Sunday.”

John Ritter has been directly involved in the music business since he was a young child. After obtaining his Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from The University of South Florida, John decided to pursue a music career in Nevada. In addition to his successful work on the Nevada circuit, John recorded sessions with Anita Pointer of The Pointer Sisters and Sony BMG Vice President Paul Wurley. After returning to Florida, John built a 24-track recording facility and began the positive country music show Rise Up which later moved to Tampa station WQYK where it was renamed Rise Up Country. In addition to hosting Rise Up Country and managing his production studio, John is also a songwriter. His work has been recorded by artists such as Craig Morgan, Aaron Tippin and Tracy Lawrence.
